Blueberry is an indica dominant hybrid (80% indica/20% sativa) strain with unknown true parentage. This bud has been traced back to the early 70’s when the infamous American breeder DJ Short started playing around with different landrace strains, ultimately resulting in this insanely delicious variety. It is thought to be descended from Purple Thai X Afghan, but we will never know for sure.

At the highest price/quality tier I had high hopes for this bud. Visually its insane. VERY dense nugs, purple like people have said. Very crystally. But it came to me bone dry. The terps had largely been dried up so to me the smoke was harsh and flavorless. Amazing bud goes to hell once its dried to a crisp. I did my best to rehydrate it using a piece of orange peel but the damage is done. I’ve never seen any bud truly come back from being over dried in terms of flavor. If flavor is your thing think twice. Oh well. I also ordered Platinum Cookies, Cannatonic and Chemnesia. I offer harsh, no fluff reviews, straight from the taste buds of an flavor aficionado.
