    A pleasant surprise. I decided to grab a selection of the cheaper bud here and I have started with the Hindu Kush. I will admit at first I was disappointed with it. I’ve had this strain before and I was expecting it to be closer to my previous experiences. Upon opening the bag (I got 10 grams to try out – can’t go wrong price wise). The buds were smaller and a little drier than I like and pretty scruffy too. I actually found about 20 seeds in the 10 gram bag – This is not unexpected with a real cheap strain but still was surprised by that many seeds. It pretty much failed the sniff test too. It did have a little of the spicy dankness I’m used to buy not a strong smell. It was actually a little grassy and gassy (not unlike my own batch of grizzly skunk I grew this summer). So not we are 0 for 2. Failed the look and smell test. Now to the most important part – smoking it. It was a little harsh which again not a surprise for a cheap strain. Here is where this review turns around completely. Even though it was kinda ugly and didn’t have a great nose and a little harsh it was saved from the high. Just like the hindu kush I’ve had before it hits slow and hard. Kinda a creeper strain. I had rolled a king size (110 mm) joint and smoked the whole thing as I didn’t think it was gonna be shit. Wrong! it was a bit of a creeper as I said and when it hit it with a 20 pound sledge. Totally caught me off guard but a good surprise. I still can’t give it a 5 just based on the look and smell but this is one of the better ass kickers I’ve had for a $2.00/gram strain. Real good bang for your buck. Will try again for sure.
