Description

Trainwreck is a seriously potent sativa, producing a mellowing body high with a mental stimulant. Created from both a Mexican and Thai sativa then blended with a Afghani indica, this strain packs a lot of punch. This sativa dominant strain is best consumed during the day, providing an intense cerebral uplifting high. The reason this strain is so popular is due to it’s perfect balance of energy induced sativa and its Indica pain numbing buzz. Created in California by two brothers in the 70s, the name comes from when the two brothers had to pull their crop early because of a train wreck that happened near their grow and they didn’t want the police to discover their stash. Trainwreck helps alleviate such things like pain, stress and depression. When smoked, it produces a spice taste similar to peeper, with a earthy aroma.

Trainwreck didn’t get its name or claim to fame in the marijuana community for no reason at all. This exhilarating hybrid strain has mind blowing components that will hit you like a train after just a couple of hits. A combination of 2 sativas (Mexican and Thai) and one indica (Afghani), this strain is nothing short of a mental roller coaster ride. Although Trainwreck is mainly sativa dominant (80:20 sativa/indica ratio), you can expect a mellowing body high in addition to a cognitive high that administers imaginative and inventive thoughts. Patients commonly use Trainwreck to relieve pain, PTSD and stress. You can smoke this strain comfortably throughout the day even with its super high potency. It’s long green leaves are accompanied by a pine/citrus aroma that can’t be mistaken. You can expect a noticeable after taste of lemon with a slight cough when inhaling this strain.. There’s definitely a heavy amount of trichomes (hairs) on this strain which gives it a light green color and sometimes a subtle hint of gray.

    All and all I’m surprised. I say the bud and I’m very accustom to bc qauds. I didn’t think much just by looking at it. Took me back to my 20’s when I first tried the now old school hippie strains. I smoke heavy 1200 MG fse dab pens heavy all day. I rolled up two as i always do, found it creeping on my body and head by the first one, decided to bang it out. Damn! 45 mins later I could still feel the effects. That is what I search for these days and can never find 9/10 for the high

    Different looks this time around, looked less leafy (although, the leaves on the last one where characteristically of a jungley/sativa-y bud)
    This time, similar looks, in terms of color, in terms of trainwreckness.
    Good uplifting sativa-high.
    Can’t guarantee this will satisfy the bag-appeal-hungry.
    Might not satisfy someone looking for super-potency (they might).
    But if looking for sativa-kick, that is true to the trainwreckness.
    For 3$, I like it and I will be ordering again. This time it was a 3.5.
    That’s generally what I take, I don’t buy a lot of it, but it’s nice to have around.
    It’s got that something, something that made it a strain you will keep on seeing around.

    I’m new to Haute. First order was decent but the Trainwreck was sub par. It came in a black bag and I couldn’t see in. I opened and glad I did. It was really musty. No mould but it has the smell like just before it starts. Hopefully just a one off. The rest of the order was as expected!

    Out of all the herbage I ordered at this price range, this one stood out of the rest in a certain way.
    The smell was very enticing, a sweet, fruity smell.
    The looks, it had a few tiny leaves and was fluffy.
    The kind of weed, even if grown indoors, some people around my parts would call it outdoor – because of the fluffiness, unperfect trim, color, and high (sativa-ish).
    Personally, from the looks, it communicated to me simply that it was on the sativa-side.
    Nice uplifting high as expected, smokes good.
    For the price range, I would not expect this to be AAAA.
    The taste is more grassy/herbal, as expected from this kind of bud.

    For price/smell/high/looks (I find the looks decent, I don’t mind a few leaves, they protect the trichomes).

    If you’re looking for something to smoke during the day this is a really good strain considering you catch a nice mellow buzz Yet avoid side affects like drowsiness / burning out. The high is nice and will please an everyday smoker, that being said my batch was somewhat dry, it made for a big ounce but it is a little bit harsh. If you’re looking for something to rock you and sit you down you should go for a more expensive indica strain but this is great for daytime use just what I’m looking for. Nugs were a good size the trichomes are there, smell is almost like orange peelings, citrusy, slightly pungent, but with a sweetness to compliment it. This would be amazing for making oil for the price.

    I can’t say I care for the smell or taste, it’s kinda citrusy and makes my nose wrinkle everytime i smell it. I think others would love it, just not for me. There’s no way its over 20%. But it will do the trick and the price excuses the rest, tho I think next time I will try one of the other $3 strains.

    I’ve had this strain from quite a few places as it’s one of my favs. Not as strong smelling as strong as others but still a good strain. As usual for the price it is a good deal. Still hits the same though. Some strains creep up on you and some are a nice buzz 15 mins later. This one slaps you in the face before you’re finished a joint.

    The fragrance when I opened the bag was delish. But the buds were light and fluffy with a ton of large stems. It made it a lot of work to separate. Once burning there was a lot more smoke than usual. The high itself was decent for $3 bud but was short lived.

    This stuff is Amazing it’s covered in Crystals so much that when I finished the bag I could brush out the THC that was all over the bag ! The nugs are nice compact medium sized buds with nice orange hairs . It has a really nice kick to it , it’s worth the money that’s for sure !
