Description

Blueberry is an indica dominant hybrid (80% indica/20% sativa) strain with unknown true parentage. This bud has been traced back to the early 70’s when the infamous American breeder DJ Short started playing around with different landrace strains, ultimately resulting in this insanely delicious variety. It is thought to be descended from Purple Thai X Afghan, but we will never know for sure.

Blueberry is one of the most popular strains on the market and took home the 2000 Best Indica award at the High Times’ Cannabis Cup thanks to its high-powered effects and mouthwatering blueberry vanilla flavor. The Blueberry high has a euphoric and hazy feel to it that creeps up on you slowly before washing over you with a sense of calm and ease. As this high grows, your mind will fall into a state of hazy introspection that immediately erases any negative or racing thoughts and numbs the brain. With these relaxing effects and its high 16-24% average THC level, Blueberry is said to be perfect for treating conditions such as chronic fatigue, depression, migraines, and chronic stress or anxiety. This bud has grape-shaped olive green nugs with bright blue undertones, fiery orange hairs, and a frosty thick coating of tiny amber colored crystal trichomes. It has a smell much like the taste, with a spicy yet sweet earthy vanilla effect that’s accented by fragrant florals.

    Been smoking over 20 years. This is my favorite strain, full stop. Not sure if it’s just my particular brain chemistry, but this strain is for me. It’s an incredible uplifting and euphoriac strain, I love this high. It feels more like a sativa than indica, and the high is unlike much else I’ve tried (of maybe 80 strains I’ve tried over my lifetime). Energizing and joyful, I’ll always be ordering more Blueberry.

    While this didnt have a strong fruity flavor like I expected, this strain still did not disappoint. It’s got a light fruity flavor with a relaxing high. No couch lock.. felt like I could still be productive. Willing to try again some day! Would recommend if you have not tried a lot of different strains.

    I will try to be fair!
    This was nothing like any of the Blueberry I’ve gotten my hands on throughout the years, just about the only thing that was similar was the amount of tricks that were on the bud.
    I’ve had the pleasure of smoking some actual DJ Short Blueberry.
    This stuff, seems to be someone’s attempt to mimic the real Blueberry.
    I did enjoy it, but because it was nothing like any of the different Blueberry I’ve had thrown the years of, I’m going to have to give it 4 stars.

    Wow! Incredible uplifting high here. For the taste and smell, I did not detect any blueberry aromas myself. Seemed like a fairly typical bud until I smoked it — then blew my mind. Best cannabis high(s) I’ve had in years and years! Very uplighting, energetic, and euphoric. Definitely felt more of a sativa than an indica. Definitely will be getting more! (I ordered Green Dream at same time, almost feels like maybe the two bags had the labels mistakenly swapped, as the Greed Dream felt and looked like the blueberry and an indica).

    At the highest price/quality tier I had high hopes for this bud. Visually its insane. VERY dense nugs, purple like people have said. Very crystally. But it came to me bone dry. The terps had largely been dried up so to me the smoke was harsh and flavorless. Amazing bud goes to hell once its dried to a crisp. I did my best to rehydrate it using a piece of orange peel but the damage is done. I’ve never seen any bud truly come back from being over dried in terms of flavor. If flavor is your thing think twice. Oh well. I also ordered Platinum Cookies, Cannatonic and Chemnesia. I offer harsh, no fluff reviews, straight from the taste buds of an flavor aficionado.
