Hindu Kush is a 100% pure indica strain that is native to the local regions of the mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan. This bud is infamous among users all around the world for its classic indica effects and long-lasting high that’s perfect for any lazy day or sleepless night when you need a little extra help to fully let go. The Hindu Kush high has a subtle building onset that creeps up on both mind and body before suddenly taking hold. You’ll feel a euphoric effect settle into your mind, easing away any negative or racing thoughts and leaving you feeling blissfully unfocused and hazy. As your mind settles into oblivion, your body will begin to follow suit, leaving you couch-locked and totally sedated for hours and hours on end.     A pleasant surprise. I decided to grab a selection of the cheaper bud here and I have started with the Hindu Kush. I will admit at first I was disappointed with it. I’ve had this strain before and I was expecting it to be closer to my previous experiences. Upon opening the bag (I got 10 grams to try out – can’t go wrong price wise). The buds were smaller and a little drier than I like and pretty scruffy too. I actually found about 20 seeds in the 10 gram bag – This is not unexpected with a real cheap strain but still was surprised by that many seeds. It pretty much failed the sniff test too. It did have a little of the spicy dankness I’m used to buy not a strong smell. It was actually a little grassy and gassy (not unlike my own batch of grizzly skunk I grew this summer). So not we are 0 for 2. Failed the look and smell test. Now to the most important part – smoking it. It was a little harsh which again not a surprise for a cheap strain. Here is where this review turns around completely. Even though it was kinda ugly and didn’t have a great nose and a little harsh it was saved from the high. Just like the hindu kush I’ve had before it hits slow and hard. Kinda a creeper strain. I had rolled a king size (110 mm) joint and smoked the whole thing as I didn’t think it was gonna be shit. Wrong! it was a bit of a creeper as I said and when it hit it with a 20 pound sledge. Totally caught me off guard but a good surprise. I still can’t give it a 5 just based on the look and smell but this is one of the better ass kickers I’ve had for a $2.00/gram strain. Real good bang for your buck. Will try again for sure.

    Doesn’t smell wrong , or foul, or like an unpopular thing. Smells more sweet or sure, does not smell grassy or spicy

    Taste : Pleasant , like it smells, sweet, easy smoking

    Burns right
    High is enjoyable, indica-like, smiley-pleasant
    Not some kind of floor you, incapacitate you or medicine for the very sick (pain and what-not)
    I couldn’t guarantee that or someone.

    But if you want to know, for 2$ are you getting a deal ?
    M******, yes.
    To the point where , I feel I should not be telling you, because I want some left for me.

    A pleasant ying to the yang of the other 2$ strain – cherry pie
    which I will review right after. cherry is more dense, more of an enticing aroma
    but not kush looking
    cherry pie looks more like a wilder sativa typer (indica probably none the less)
    but it’s two very nice buds
